1 pack shortcrust pastry
Butter for greasing tin
Equipment and preparation
Butter mini tart tins/muffin tray
Pre-heat oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6
- Roll out the shortcrust pastry on a lightly floured surface to just under
the thickness of £1 coin. Stamp out circles using a pastry cutter and
line mini tart tins or a muffin tray.
- Prick with a fork and spoon 1 teaspoon of jam into each (e.g. apricot,
blackcurrant and strawberry). Stamp out shapes from the leftover
pastry to decorate the tarts, if you like.
