Les Trois Vallees – Reberty

Reberty offers simply the best and most affordable way for families to enjoy the magnificent Three Valleys in high quality piste-side chalets ski at a snow-sure 2000 m. Much better value than Meribel yet only one lift away! We have been in Reberty since it opened in 2000 and, importantly, we are the only Family Ski Company whose Ski School helpers are allowed by the ESF to assist our younger skiers once they leave the beginners’ Ski Jardin. In detail

The Three Valleys is an outstanding ski area combining excellent snow quality and magnificent skiing for all levels. Our ski chalets in Reberty village are ideally situated at a snow-sure 2,000m; on the edge of a blue piste with commanding views across the valley.

Reberty village is an attractive village of wooden ski chalets tucked away between Les Menuires and Val Thorens in the Vallée de Belleville and enjoys some of the best snow conditions in France. The village is great for families skiing with children. It has an excellent bar/restaurant, La Ferme, one of the best and best-value piste-side restaurants in the Three Valleys with a lively apres ski atmosphere.  There is a small supermarket 100m away from the chalets.

Our Reberty chalets are either ski-in/ski-out and just a few metres from the piste and offer access to over 6600kms of pistes, 200 ski lifts and 25 peaks. Val Thorens is just one lift above our chalets in Reberty and at 2,300m is the highest resort in Europe. Only one lift too to the Meribel Valley and two more take you to all the way to Courchevel. Orelle, the ‘fourth’ valley, is over the col to the South of Val Thorens and offers plenty of superb off-piste skiing. From Reberty it is easy to ski all the way down to the picturesque village of Saint Martin de Belleville (1400m) – a fine lunch objective with plenty of good options. Reberty is truly at the heart of the World’s most extensive skiing area.

The Three Valleys will delight all skiers and especially families, combining, the pleasure and ease of skiing with children in a well groomed ski area with average or difficult routes around the peaks.

For experts with a taste for adventure the area offers some of the best off-piste itineraries available anywhere in Europe: there is also a snowpark for boarders and skiers and with one of the most modern lift systems in Europe the area prides itself on having virtually no lift queues, even during the school holidays.

For the non-skier there are several shops, restaurants and bars in Les Menuires which is easily accessed by a free bus servce which runs several times each hour. Les Menuires also has a modern leisure complex with swimming pool, saunas, hammam, Jacuzzis and solarium. The village of Bruyères is also just a short bus journey down the mountain and in addition to the local shops, cafes and restaurants the village has a cinema and ice rink.

Please note that as Reberty is situated at 2000m (6600ft), doctors have advised that this altitude can sometimes be stressful for babies and toddlers under the age of about 18 months. (If in any doubt please contact your GP).
